Vicious Marion
Vicious was born to a well off family that owned a high class restaurant in Brunswick, New Avalon. He spent his youth in and out of private institutions and getting into all the trouble that entails when rich kids are left unattended. Upon the age of 16 he requested to a shocked parental team that he attend a military school, and declared his intentions to one day join the AFFS. His father, who had fought in the Third War, did not condone his sons wishes, but could not bring himself to say no as he had told his father the same decades prior.
Often the butt of jokes as being a scrawny one, Vicious drove on through the rigors of military school. He was hounded relentlessly by both peers and instructors for being a “rich kid”. Nevertheless, he made friends and even managed to get a scholarship into the Albion Military Academy as a MechWarrior.
Being eternally around other rich kids helped loosen up Vicious considerably. His prowess in the cockpit was never questioned, and he sailed through his first few years at an above average pace. After graduating early from Mech school, he was selected for OCS, where he met three very important people in his life. Mech Piloting Instructor Major Ahrenbaus, who told him consistently that his light touch and lack of aggression were more suited for the cockpit of a fighter. Amelen Grey, his girlfriend for his stay in the Academy, and Thomas Holdt, who would be his long time best friend.
Upon his graduation from OCS, he wished to stay in school for just a little longer, as Amelen was a 3 years his junior in her studies. As such, he gave into his instructors insults, and enrolled in the Aerospace Pilot School. Vicious found the place a much better fit, however as her graduation date came to, Amalen and Vicious parted ways.
Vicious was pulled into an Aerospace Wing upon his arrival in the AFFS. Having noticed his interesting skillset, he along with wingman Leftenant Karen Burns were assigned to a pair of PHX-HK-1′s and ran Dropship escort missions in support of planetary asssaults in both Operation Galahad and the Fourth War.

After the war had ground to a halt, he was reassigned as a test pilot at the NAIS. The natural environment that turns test pilots into cocky hotshots was compounded by what many had coined “LAM Pilot Syndrome”, in which a LAM pilot knows his superiors have no hope in replacing him or her, and they tend to act of their own accord.
Vicious was determined to find a new war and new excitement, which rarely found him at the institute, and so he set out for Galatea in early 3031 with his heavily modified Phoenix Hawk. There he met the same problems he’d had as a test pilot, and the mercenary units he’d signed on would tolerate him until his usefulness was outweighed by his arrogance.
