Introduction

The Royal Dragoon Guards organization exists as a group to provide entertainment and recreation to its members.  Part of that mission includes the recognition of members for their contributions to the group – both out-of-character (OOC) as members, and in-character (IC) as their Persona.  It is the aim of the recognition system to reward and encourage acts of service to the organization and feats of excellence on the tabletop field of battle or in the skillful play of one’s Persona.

There are four classes of award possible for members of the Royal Dragoon Guards, each designed to cover a different facet of the organization.  Combat Awards cover actions taken in Persona on the field of battle.  Service Awards cover service the member renders to the organization.  Training Awards recognize courses of study undertaken to learn more about topics related to the Battletech Universe and to help play a Mercenary persona in the thirty-first century.
